available in our library  may usually be borrowed on interlibrary loan from another library.  Just ask. 

 

The library has undergone many changes this summer.  In addition to the new carpeting and new drapes we have also changed our database subscription to one which is much more user friendly.  I think you will agree that it will be easier to find the important supporting resources you need for your various class projects.  There are also new books and different subscriptions to tempt readers.  .  I am very excited about these changes and hope you will be too.

The NHS library is pleased to borrow books and occasionally other media from other libraries when those materials are not in our own collection.  Staff and students desiring this service should see Mrs. Strachan for an ILL request form.  Books usually arrive within one week and may be borrowed for up to three weeks.  Some lending libraries are willing to extend the loan period if additional time is needed.  It is important that all books borrowed from other libraries are returned to them promptly!  Failure to do so will jeopardize this important service for all of us.
